Each Beanie Cap and Nekker is one of a kind and handmade only by Tom or Jed. We source our yarns from all over the planet and a few of them, in addition to the caps and Nekkers, are for sale here in the catalog. Use the menu below to search for specific styles of caps, Nekkers or yarns.
We welcome custom orders and there are no additional charges involved. Give us an idea of what colors of yarns you like and what style of cap or Nekker you want based on styles in the catalog. (They're listed below.) We take it from there and will design and make you something special.

For clarification, we don't do custom crocheting based on someone else's design or specifications. We create caps and Nekkers from our own designs and from within our current inventory of yarns. As so many of our yarns are handmade with limited runs it is often impossible to duplicate a specific look that you might see in the catalog or one of the galleries. But we can certainly aim in a particular direction and see what happens. Every cap or Nekker is one of a kind so exact duplication of any previous work isn't an option.
Because our caps and Nekkers are worn next to the hair and skin of the head they come under the category of intimate wear and cannot be returned. This is the only way that we can guarantee you will receive brand new caps that have never been worn by another person. We will cover defective workmanship.
We recommend dry cleaning your caps and Nekkers, especially if they have any fur in them like Samoyed, Qiviut or Angora. Certain yarns like cashmere and merino can be gently hand washed but our experience has been that most caps and Nekkers look better with a once a year trip to the dry cleaners.
Jed and Tom are known professionally as the BeanieCapGuys and they crochet and sell high-end beanie caps and Nekkers. They use the finest animal-fibered yarns they can find from across the planet and recently began selling some of the yarns they use in their caps.
Since 2001 Tom has been crocheting and selling caps and Nekkers under the name Pussy Cap and that wildly successful brand continues uninterrupted. Jed and Tom wanted something of their own that reflects the nature of their work together so they decided on BeanieCapGuys. Tom designs the caps and Nekkers and they both finish them; their work being so alike now that neither can tell whose is whose.
Tom and Jed make every single cap and Nekker themselves. They're the sweatshop. Since it's all about the yarns they focus a lot of attention in sourcing the very finest, very softest and in some cases the very rarest yarns they can find.
We don't send out very many emails but occasionally we announce new products, special offers or crocheting classes in email messages. We won't blow up your inbox or offer your information to anybody else for any reason.
